Jackie's Story

Jackie Scott-Bell is a professional educator, children’s book author, and social skills coach. She holds a Master of Education in Counseling and Human Development and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.  She has educated hundreds of students in the areas of social/emotional learning, academic development, and career readiness. She also teaches social skills classes for adults. She is the author of "Diversity is You and Me” and "Bullyanna.”  Bullyanna: The Animated Series can be seen on Youtube.  Her books teach children the importance of good character and how to develop positive relationships with their peers. The National Association of Black Journalists selected her as the recipient of the 2021 Outstanding Book Award for “Bullyanna.”  Originally from Detroit, Michigan, she now resides in Northern Virginia with her family.
